Leave Management - Questions to ask

  • Leave accrual rules – are they up to date and accruing correctly? Are non-accruing leave types set up and conforming with legislation, e.g. Domestic Violence leave?
  • Are rules around leave certificates in place and correct?
  • Are leave balances correct and displaying correctly for employees, e.g. LSL?
  • Are any employees entitled to Leave Loading? Is this in place?
  • Is Leave Liability being calculated and reported correctly?
  • Are all public holidays loaded into the system? How often are they updated?
  • Can casual employees apply for leave?
