Detailed Description

The ability to manage internal movements where there is a requirement for new contracts to be issued. This will also include the possibility of policies to be updated. Currently the bulk of the contract variations comes through internal movements/transitions rather than only via new hires. Having the ability to process a contract variation through Onboarding eliminates the current manual process and aligns the process for issuing a contract for new employees.

Reason for Suggestion

Currently the onboarding system is unable to cater for this where the traditional onboarding systems in the market have this feature as a standard offering. Within our organisation alone we are looking at contract variations for current employees at 300% more frequently than new hires.

Expected Benefits

Will align the process where contracts are able to be managed within ichris where currently this process is managed via an email and is difficult to track. A single solution for issuing contracts and having employees sign a declaration statement keeps the process aligned and allows for better compliance and a better experience for the user.
