Frontier Software is Single Touch Payroll (STP) ready. The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has recently confirmed that the Frontier Software STP report passes their stringent conformance and product verification tests.
To Frontier Software Chief Executive Officer, Nick Southcombe, this is a business as usual event. “In an industry where legislative compliance is key and always changing, we are well used to accommodating such change in all the jurisdictions in which we operate around the world.”
Frontier's Software's STP compliance is due to collaboration with the ATO from the moment the STP project first took shape in late 2016. Having a close working relationship with the ATO department responsible for implementing STP, Frontier Software both always knew what was required to deliver a compliant STP system and regularly provided feedback to the ATO as issues were uncovered.
“For our clients, this means they can submit their STP reports from July 1st”, adds Southcombe. For those clients not yet prepared to commence reporting, there are other options available. Southcombe continues, “We have also obtained a deferral which will allow our clients who want more time to prepare. It means all Frontier Software clients have the freedom to choose when to commence their STP reporting between 1st July 2018 and 30th March 2019. No-one has been left behind.”
