Auckland, New Zealand. Frontier Software continues to support the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust as an Elite Mission Sponsor. Frontier Software has donated to the 'Trust since 2001. This year marks the organisation’s 50th year of operation.
The Auckland Westpac Rescue Helicopter provides an emergency air ambulance, search and rescue service. It employs an experienced full-time team of pilots, paramedics and crewmen.
Sponsorship enables the service to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. This year, the donation made by Frontier Software will help fund fuel for this vital service. In 2020, there have been 1,000 rescues to date with nearly 22,000 being completed in its fifty-year history.
