Sheffield City Trust is a charitable trust operating a variety of leisure facilities on behalf of the City Council. The first leisure trust to be formed in the UK, it has led the way for over 30 years through an unrivaled mix of sport, leisure and entertainment venues. An ‘open to all’ philosophy ensures that activities and facilities provide for everyone across the city of Sheffield and the wider community, bringing people together and helping to change lives.
With a bespoke HR system in place that lacked maintenance and could not keep pace with growth, the Trust identified the need for a replacement. Frontier Software proposed a fully integrated HR & Payroll system, representing a good value solution for the Trust and one that offered a solid foundation for people analytics. A further benefit of the integrated system was that it brought together key employee information that had previously been disjointed.
